Nap

I miss Zion so much.
He is our 2-year Yellow Lab back at home.
Large dogs are rare in Tokyo
so its exciting when I see a Lab or a Golden Retriever.

Lazy Lab taking a nap.
Scared me for a second because he didn't move.
AT ALL.

I want to post sakura pictures but
I haven't had a chance to take any because
Tokyo's been EXTREMELY COLD recently!
SO ready for the arrival of spring and the sun.

ウイダーinゼリー

My current favorite commercial:

Love the comical movements with the serious facial expressions.
朝のラジオ体操らしい!

Sakura Fever

Sakura fever is in full effect!
Starbucks has Sakura Frappuccinos, Macarons and Biscottis...
My order? An Americano. Ha.
Sakura Matcha Kit Kat.
Didn't try these either.
Japanese people send Sakura cards?
My friend persuaded me into trying this
Sakura & Cherry Chu-hi.
It tasted like cough syrup... but the can is cute.
Fancy beer cans.
'Mankai' (or full bloom) Sakura is scheduled for next week!
So excited for my first ever hanami!

The weather has been so unstable recently,
I've come down with a cold.
Currently battling it with hot ginger & honey.
It better be gone before hanami!

Happy weekend!

Tulip Festival

The Tulip Festival was going on in Marunouchi.
100,000 tulips were placed all around the financial district.
I love tulips!
Spring is in the air.
The fringed tulips are so cute.
Flowers make me happy!

Las Chicas & St. Pat's

Back in Tokyo!

Sunday was such a warm and nice day.
We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the sun so we brunched at..
Penny joined us.
Smoked Salmon Egg's Benedict.
Nothing special.
Las Chicas is definitely not somewhere I would go back for the food.
Then we headed over to the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Supposedly an annual event held since 1992.
Guiness.
Irish Setters.
Irish Wolfhounds. They were HUGE!

*Today (17th) is the actual Irish holiday,
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
