Last month, we took a weekend trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima. Miyajima is an island that is a ferry ride away from Hiroshima. We were blessed with great weather, especially because it was during the time when a huge typhoon had hit Japan.

i was there a few years ago too. Very cool place
my okan always says that you should never go to miyajima as a couple because the goddess there gets jealous and will try to break you up! but alas, my parents marriage still withstands, so i digress... miss you! xo
