3 Spices

We walked into 3 Spices on Taweewongse Road for dinner after we saw it on the way to Savoey Restaurant the night before. It's a really nice, open restaurant but it was empty. Probably because it is pricey in Thailand standards, but the other restaurants costed just as much. We were pleasantly surprised because the food was so delicious!
Grilled Andaman Prawns with Mango, Carrot, Roasted Peanuts and Thai Herbs
A refreshing salad and a great way to start the meal!
Special Jasmine Rice with Spicy Green Curry Paste
We thought this was just going to come out as a curry, but it was actually Green Curry fried rice. Brilliant.
Crispy Pork Belly with Kale Leaves and Chilli-Oyster Sauce
This also had great flavor, although the "crispy" pork was unnecessary, in my opinion.

It was so good that we decided to go back for lunch on our last day in Phuket.
Interior.
This is how it always was when we dined there and when we walked by... deserted! But when in Phuket, this is definitely on my recommended list.
Singha Beer goes perfectly with the humidity and hot weather in Thailand.
Breaded Prawn Patties with Sheeracha Chilli & Plum Sauce
Pad Thai with Prawns
I know, it's totally lame ordering Pad Thai in Thailand but I couldn't resist!
Green Curry with Chicken
Yum.
