While I'm on the subject of cafes with cool interiors, a couple weeks ago I went to a cafe called ライオンのいるサーカス (literally translated as 'a circus with a lion') which is located up the hill two blocks away from Ebisu Station.
Follow this bike up to the 3rd floor.
Love the antique vibe of this cafe.

I only ordered drinks on both visits so sorry for the lack of food pictures. This laid back cafe is a perfect place for a chill afternoon/night with a coffee or even a glass of wine.
